Helen leads Voltera’s People Operations team, fostering our People-first culture and driving organizational effectiveness as we scale. Helen joined Voltera after serving as Wayfair's Chief People Officer for Operations, supporting the global Supply Chain and Customer Service functions across North America, Europe, and Hong Kong. Helen’s time at Wayfair also included scaling up and leading the global HR Business Partner teams and driving Executive and Company Performance Strategy after a stint as HR Business Partner for the Chief Commercial Officer. Before Wayfair, Helen was a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group, working on a wide range of Go-to-Market, Sales Strategy, and People and Organizational projects primarily for telecommunication, automotive, and infrastructure clients in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. While at BCG, Helen published research modeling Talent supply-demand gaps in Indonesia’s fast-growing economy and found herself drawn to the strategic importance of the People function in driving commercial success. Prior to BCG, Helen’s early career began in international development, where she ran research and grant programs for Innovations for Poverty Action and Save the Children. One of her most formative roles was serving as the first Research Associate in Monrovia, Liberia, leading a pioneering randomized controlled trial seeking to understand the impact of cognitive behavioral therapy and cash transfers on high-risk youth. Her first non-profit roles were in Manila, the Philippines, and Banda Aceh, Indonesia, where she worked on public health programming through a Princeton in Asia fellowship.
