Transportation Solutions
Moving people.
Your riders expect to get where they’re going on time. So charging infrastructure must be strategically located, highly reliable, and fast. That’s where we come in.
AV Fleet Solutions
We’ve been supporting electric autonomous vehicle fleets since 2021, so we understand your unique requirements. (For example, site design particularities necessary while AVs are in training, or high-capacity network connectivity for data offload.) Whether you’re looking for park-and-charge hubs, full-service depots, or both, we acquire, develop, and operate the charging facilities you need to grow your AV business.
Ridehail Fleet Solutions
For many ridehail fleets, time-in-service parity with ICE vehicles is key to widespread EV adoption. So we develop and operate sites in strategic locations to minimize deadheading, with high-reliability fast charging that gets your vehicles back on the road. We can deliver hubs for opportunity charging as well as full-service depots (with driver lounges, maintenance bays, and car washes, for example).
Bus Fleet Solutions
The significant human health benefits of zero-emission buses are clear. But it is operationally quite challenging to deploy electric buses into your current fleet without disrupting service. Charging infrastructure must be strategically located, highly reliable, fast, and economical. That’s where we come in, with SLA-guaranteed reliability and a model that keeps the CapEx off your books. We can electrify behind-the-fence at your existing sites; we can acquire, develop, and operate new sites; or both.
Voltera Guarantees Reliability

FAQ
Would Voltera deploy charging infrastructure at my depot?
Yes. We’ll take on the complexity of procuring the additional utility power and associated permits, leveraging the relationships we’ve built with AHJs and utilities in key markets. Leveraging the deep relationships we’ve developed with leading charger OEMs, we’ll manage charger procurement and deployment (and, optionally, maintenance).
Would Voltera acquire, develop, and operate a new charging facility?
Yes. In fact, building and operating charging facilities is our core engagement model. We’ll take on the CapEx to acquire the site. We’ll manage the complex and time-consuming process of site permitting and power procurement, leveraging the relationships we’ve built with AHJs and utilities in key markets. (We also have a growing portfolio of shovel-ready sites to speed time to capacity.) And with in-house EV charging expertise bolstered by partnerships with best-in-class service providers, we’ll operate the facility efficiently and reliably to keep your vehicles on the road.
Does Voltera’s facility management software integrate with my own systems?
Yes. Our purpose-built software – which covers charger, site, and energy management – is designed for seamless integration into your fleet management system. We know we are a small piece of a fleet operation, and we’ve designed our software platform to be very easy to fit into your business. Our API integrations and intuitive user experience make it easy for you to integrate our platform into your existing operations and get the data you need to make informed decisions. Furthermore, our platform allows you to test new technologies and processes alongside your regular operations without causing disruptions. This flexibility reduces the risk associated with the transition to EVs and enables you to adapt and evolve as you discover what works best for your fleet.
How does Voltera ensure high-quality site operations?
Our purpose-built charging facility management software enables higher reliability, higher efficiency operations and eases the burden of integrating EVs into your fleet. Our software connects every aspect of the charging facility – chargers, security, buildings, energy – into our Integrated Operations Center (IOC). The IOC team leverages the platform’s advanced capabilities (e.g., real-time monitoring, proactive maintenance, root cause analysis, and issue resolution) to maximize charger uptime and ensure a consistently high-quality sitewide experience. Other capabilities, such as load management, enable cost optimization. And because we built and control the platform, we can incorporate your feedback for continuous improvement.
