Christopher Balcom is the Vice President of Sales at Voltera, where he leads national business development and growth strategy for one of North America’s most innovative electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure companies. At the forefront of transportation electrification, he is responsible for driving strategic partnerships, expanding commercial market adoption, and delivering scalable charging and energy solutions that accelerate the transition to zero-emission mobility.

With more than a decade of leadership experience in clean energy and electrification, Christopher brings a track record of building high-performance teams and scaling sales organizations across the EV, solar, and smart energy sectors. Before joining Voltera, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing Strategy, North America – Prosumer at Schneider Electric, where he oversaw Home Energy Management Solutions (HEMS) and Commercial EVSE sales across the region. His work spanned solar, storage, smart panels, and both uni- and bi-directional EV charging, positioning Schneider Electric as a leader in prosumer energy innovation.

Prior to Schneider Electric, Christopher held senior sales leadership roles at Enphase Energy, ChargePoint, and Tesla, where he helped launch and scale industry-defining technologies across residential, commercial, and fleet electrification markets. From developing channel enablement strategies to managing multimillion-dollar regional operations, he has consistently delivered growth by uniting vision, execution, and purpose.
