Having led supply chain transformation and sustainability initiatives for over 30 years, Marie Robinson brings to Voltera a deep understanding of the logistics and supply chain challenges faced by fleets transitioning to zero emission vehicles.

Prior to her 2023 retirement, Marie served as EVP and Chief Supply Chain Officer for Sysco. She led global supply chain operations across 353 distribution centers, managing over 20,000 associates delivering to 650,000 unique customer locations. At the helm of the second-largest private fleet in the U.S., Marie oversaw capacity planning, facility design and construction, global real estate, fleet planning and maintenance.

Marie also led the development and execution of the climate pillar of Sysco’s CSR (ESG) strategy. She partnered with key OEMs to enable the electrification of 35% of Sysco’s truck fleet by 2030 and oversaw the design and build of the supporting captive electric generation infrastructure.

In addition to Voltera, Marie also serves on the boards of Dakota Supply Group (DSG), an employee-owned (ESOP) organization with about $750 million annual revenues in the electrical and mechanical distribution industry; BJs Wholesale Club, a $19 billion NYSE listed company; and Lazer Logistics, an EQT company that provides end-to-end yard management, shuttle, and trailer services.

Prior to Sysco, Marie held senior supply chain positions at Capri Holdings (parent to Michael Kors, Versace and Jimmy Choo), ToysRUs, Smart & Final, and Walmart. She began her career as a logistics officer in the United States Army, served during Desert Shield and Desert Storm and was awarded the Bronze Star medal.
